As the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a global pandemic, we were among the first laboratories to set up SARS-CoV-2 (also known as COVID-19) testing. All of our testing options are FDA Cleared for Emergency Use.

Currently, we offer the following test for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)

SARS-CoV-2 by PCR - Active Infection Swab Test

  • This tests helps in diagnosing a current, active COVID-19 infection.

  • A doctor or a health care provider will collect a nasal or throat swab.

  • GenX Laboratories will receive the swab specimen to perform the test and provide results within 24-48 hours.

  • The test performed is authorized by the FDA for Emergency Use.

SARS-CoV-2 IgG & IgM Antibodies - Immune Response (Antibody) Test – Blood

​

  • There are two types of Antibody Tests; one detecting current infection (IgM) and another detecting past infection (IgG)

  • These tests may indicate whether have had previous exposure to the virus and if you have some level of immunity to the virus

  • The tests performed are authorized by the FDA for Emergency Use.
